Epos Dance Ensemble was founded in July 2016 as a professional Albanian Folk Ensemble with the goal to elaborate, develop and propagate Albanian folk treasures, which include a great musical, instrumental and choreographic richness. The ensemble is youth-led, independent, non-religious and non-regional with dancers from every Albanian territory in the Balkans interpreting dances from every Albanian ethnographic area. The Ensemble was formed as a union of Albanian young people with extensive folk dance and ballet experience with the goal to create the first professional Albanian folk group in the United States to preserve and expose Albanian dances.
